Campusknot Zoom Integration

Campusknot’s Zoom Integration allows Faculty to schedule meetings using Zoom for their course groups. With our integration you can:
  • Connect your Zoom account to Campusknot
  • Start meetings with one click
  • Schedule meetings and share the Zoom link with invitees
  • Access your cloud recordings

Prerequisites
  • Access to a Zoom account
  • Faculty account with Campusknot
Installation
  • Click on the Meeting tab on the left hand navigation bar
  • In the right dialog box, click Sign In
  • In the pop up dialog box, enter your Zoom credentials and click Sign In again
  • You will be prompted to grant permission for Campusknot to access your Zoom account. Click Authorize
  • You will be redirected to Campusknot and you should now be able to schedule or start meetings
Uninstalling
  • To disconnect the integration, navigate to the Meeting tab on the left hand navigation bar
  • On the top right corner, click on the Disconnect button
  • In the pop up dialog box, click Yes
  • Your Zoom account should now be disconnected from Campusknot
Using the Zoom Integration
Start With Video
To start a meeting right away:
  • Once you're in the Meeting feature, click on the blue Start With Video button on the top right
  • In the new browser tab, you will see a pop-up dialog box from Zoom requesting permission to open the Zoom app. Click on Allow
  • You should now be able to start the meeting

Access Cloud Recordings inside Campusknot
To access your cloud recordings within Campusknot:
  • Once you're in the Meeting feature, either click on Start Meeting on a scheduled meeting card or click on the blue Start With Video button on the top right.
  • Next, once the Zoom meeting has started, navigate to the Recordbutton on the bottom bar of your Zoom window and click on the Record to the Cloud button.
  • You will see a new bar that says 'Recording' while your meeting is being recorded.
  • Once you're ready, click on the grey square in the recording bar and exit out of Zoom.
  • Navigate back to Campusknot and refresh the page. You will now see your Zoom recording on the right under 'Zoom Meetings'.
  • Wait for the recording to be ready (you will receive an email from Zoom once it is), and then click on the recording you would like to access.
  • A new tab will open up within your browser and you should now be able to view the recording.
Schedule meeting
To schedule a meeting:
  • Once you're in the Meeting feature, click on the blue Schedule meeting button
  • Then, enter a name for the meeting in the 'Meeting topic'
  • Next, pick a date, time, and timezone for the scheduled meeting
  • Invite a Group or an Individual in the 'Invite User' dropdown
  • Finally, click on the blue Schedule button
  • You should now be able to view the scheduled meeting under the 'Upcoming meetings' tab
  • Click the Join Meeting button under the scheduled meeting card to open Zoom and start the meeting
  • You can also start the meeting using the Zoom link inside the Planner feature
